Milestones

Mark important dates and group timeline issues around delivery checkpoints.

Use milestones to call out launches, decision gates, reviews, and other dates that matter to the plan.

Workspace members building or reviewing delivery timelines.

Before you start

Milestones are timeline-level planning markers. They can group issues and show completion progress, but they do not change dependency scheduling.

Steps

  1. Open a timeline.
  2. Choose Milestone to add a marker at today's date.
  3. Drag the marker or use the date field to move it.
  4. Add a title, optional description, and color.
  5. Link issues from the milestone panel or from an issue context menu.
  6. Save the timeline to publish the milestone.

What happens next

Milestones appear on live timelines, snapshots, and exports. Provider sync status is shown on each milestone; milestones remain local when an integrated app does not support the same milestone model.
