Members and guests

Understand the difference between workspace members and external collaborators.

Outcome

Choose the right access model for each person involved in a plan.

Applies to

Workspace admins, planners, and reviewers.

Before you start

Internal members work inside the workspace. Guests or external collaborators access only the shared timeline, snapshot, or issue context granted to them.

Steps

  1. Add teammates as workspace members when they need ongoing planning access.
  2. Share a timeline or snapshot when someone only needs review access.
  3. Use guests for external comments and review participation.
  4. Revoke guest access when the review is finished.

What happens next

Keeping access scoped prevents external reviewers from seeing more workspace data than they need.
